The instrument is created from more than a thousand square cells to understand Mercury’s x-ray emissions. It is part of a Japanese and European mission that is now on its way to the planet. The expected arrival date is 2025, after which the x-ray emissions will be explored and understood.
There is no limit to what humans can do, and these are examples of that fact. We can understand a lobster’s optic nerve and replicate the same system to explore what is out there. Of course, this is just the beginning of such discoveries.
